Hi, I’m Farah!

Welcome, friend! I’m so glad you’re here.

When I moved to Asia at age 42, a lot of my friends thought me brave and adventurous. I really just wanted to leave freelancing behind and start a new chapter in life … but it has, in fact, turned into the adventure of a lifetime! I mastered teaching English as a second language, met and married my sweet hubby, and eventually landed my dream job! Oh, and I’ve traveled all over the world from here …

My goal with Fleur de Libre is to chronicle my adventures in South Korea and, hopefully, inspire other women to take a leap and move abroad. I hope to help you discover your own spirit of adventure and take off!
